The EIS system is a non-invasive, comprehensive assessment showing how the whole body is functioning. The assessment will analyze the body systems including Respiratory, Digestive, Immune, Cardiovascular, Brain and Nervous Systems as well as the Endocrine System, Neuromuscular System, Urogenital System & Metabolic Functions and others.

The assessment also analyzes:

  • Body Composition including Fat Mass, Lean Mass, Muscular Mass, Intracellular Water, extra Cellular Water, Total Body Water Weight Analysis
  • Oxidative Stress Analysis
  • Hormonal Balance including DHEA, Testosterone, Oestrogens, Thyroid, Insulin, Cortisol, TSH, FSH, Aldosterone, Adrenal hormones & ADH
  • Ions and Minerals
  • Neurotransmitter Balance/s
  • Biochemistry Balance such as Glucose and Cholesterol Analysis (HDL/LDL ratio)
  • pH, Oxygen and CO2 levels, Hydrogen, Bicarbonates, Concentration and Bone Density.

How is the Health Assessment performed?

A fully trained practitioner will start by working through a series of health questions, followed by a specialized electronic scan of the whole body. The results will then be analysed and explained to the patient at the end of the assessment.

The majority of the appointment will be spent discussing the results. The actual scan takes ~3 minutes and is painless, safe and non invasive. It requires the client to put their hands & feet on electrode plates, while 2 electrodes are placed on their forehead.

The client does nothing during the scan other than stay quiet and still, watching the body being scanned in real time on the screen in front of them... they will find the process absolutely fascinating!

At the end of the initial Health Assessment, the results will be explained & the client will be given a report of results which will include, among other things, a dietary and supplement recommendation ,

What to expect on the day?

  • The Tech or Practitioner does tests as follows:
  1. Set up 3 minutes
  2. History 12 minutes
  3. Test - 3 minutes
  4. Analysis & explanation 25 minutes
  5. Report & printing 15 minutes
  • The practitioner completes notes & recommendations and then passes these to reception for any further typing and placing in a folder for the client. The folder includes the following:
  1. Next follow up appointments
  2. Any referrals which have to be organised
  3. Pathology request
  4. Nutrition/Supplement recommendations
  5. Material needs such as self monitoring devices.
  6. Exercise recommendations/referrals
  • The client then sees the Reception/Manager who receives payment, organises all the above and discusses any other possible needs the patient may have. Patients are encouraged to book yearly appointments for their ongoing health risk assessment. They will be notified 2 weeks prior to their booking for confirmation of appointment time & date.

The Electro Interstitial Scanner Function

The EIS package consist of:
E
xamination D iagnostic capability - rapid & efficient U nderlying silent problems detected C orrection of problems & confirmation by follow up A ccuracy of Results (87%-90%) T reatment can be started rapidly I nvestigations are extremely thorough O pinions & Actions for client given immediately N ew to Australasia - 3D (no radiation) Body Scan.

The EIS Scans the body with 1.28 volts of electricity and reveals on a screen :

  • A model of Organs, Glands and Body Segments: Colour scaled to indicate the degree of risk.
  • Risk probabilities in the following areas: Cardiac, Vascular, Respiratory, Digestive, Kidneys, Bladder, Genital Organs, Immune Function, Neuro Muscular, Bone Density, Endocrine, Neurological, and General Metabolic Functions of the body
  • Cellular Bio-chemical Values. A large number of chemical tests of ions, gasses, acids & alkalis, biochemistry, enzymes & hormones (TSH, FSH, DHEA, Cortisol, Aldosterone, Adrenal Medullary Hormones, Testosterone, Insulin, Para Thyroid, Thyroid, ADH, and ACTH ) in the interstitial fluids (around the cells)
  • Oxidative Stress Estimation by measuring the antioxidants in the Interstitial fluids: ONOOH, NO, H2O2, O2-, OH-
  • Body Composition Graph: Including intra & extra-cellular water, muscle mass, fat mass & lean body mass
  • Nutritional recommendations: Including p rohibited foods, recommended foods
  • Auricular Acupuncture Electro-auriculogram: Neuro-functional points on the Ear for Detox etc.

How the Practitioner assesses the effectiveness of therapy
The ideal way to assess cellular function is to test the cells themselves. To date we do not have an economically practical clinical method for doing this. The Electro Interstitial Scanner is the closest (and most cost effect) science has, because it has the ability to scan the fluids in direct contact with the cells. It is rather like looking through a slightly frosted glass into the cells themselves.

With all of the information, gained from the scan, the Practitioner may see how effective his medication or therapy is with dose effectiveness; whether the patient may need more treatment; plus the effects of dysfunction, age, disease, imbalance, toxicity, malnutrition, etc on the body.

Based on over 60 years of research, the EIS System represents a dramatic advance in today's non-invasive healthcare technology. It has been internationally for over 5 years with clinical studies in France and Russia with outstanding results and a great aid to assisting the physician in making a diagnosis.

The EIS has about an 89% Sensitivity and 84% Specificity and research has confirmed its ability to reproduce consistent results. It does this by using a direct signal via 6 electrodes attached to the head, feet and hands. This allows for accurate measurements of the Interstitial Fluid within the body.

Because the interstitial fluids have no buffers (like proteins in the blood), documented research has indicated a precise & reproducible ability to gain an overview of organ cellular function & risk.

Although there are only 2 systems in Australia there are over 1800 in Europe and USA , where the EIS is used to validate various protocols and monitor therapeutic dosages including the following:

  • Establishing a link between conductivity values of certain organs and known physiologic parameters.
  • Modeling and localisation of the body organs
  • Calculation of acid base balance in the Interstitial Fluid
  • Establishing a Functional Risk Assessment of a patient according to WHO international classification standards.
  • Apply recognised calculations to function as an Internationally accepted body composition analyzer.

Indications for the EIS use:

    1. The EIS System will compute various physiological or blood flow parameters.
    2. It will be a reliable guide into organ function.
    3. The EIS System is used for therapeutic monitoring. The repeatability and reproducibility allows the practitioner to track the effect of various dosages on the human body

In healthy subjects, the EIS System can be used as a non-invasive bio impedance analyzer used for measurement of actual height, weight and estimated body fat percentage.
